Although we are saved by grace alone through faith alone, it's not a faith this is alone. Saving faith naturally proves itself to be true by producing good fruit, and that good fruit is the objective evidence and assurance of one's salvation; of being born again. Good fruit produced by the work of the Holy Spirit, also known as spiritual fruit, is the by-product of a righteous life lived for Christ. We are not saved by good works. However, we are certainly saved for good works. (Ephesians 2:8-10) We do not obey to be saved. We obey because we are saved. Evidence that believers possess the Holy Spirit is that we show love, express joy, have peace, and practice patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
 
Examples of How Scripture Identifies Good Fruit:
